Nintendo DS family is a line of handheld consoles developed, manufactured, released and marketed by Nintendo since 2004 in North America and Japan and 2005 in Europe. The DS, distinguished by featuring two folding screens with lower one touchscreen enabling stylus pen input, was Nintendo's first handheld console to have built-in wireless capabilities and internet communications. The line comprises different models: original Nintendo DS (yr. 2004), DS Lite (yr. 2006), DSi (yr. 2008), 3DS (yr. 2011), DSi XL (yr. 2011), 3DS XL (yr. 2012), 2DS (yr. 2013) and New 3DS XL (yr. 2014).
